Change That Works

RWD's Lean Learning Academy and workshops deliver the skills and insight into leadership behavior that are fundamental to a lean operation.

Our lean leadership training is designed for executives, managers, supervisors and others who need to be equipped with the knowledge to lead your organization through implementation to reap the full benefits a lean system can deliver.

Programs include:

Stage 1
12 Lean Leadership and 12 Lean Implementation modules

An introduction to all the key aspects of lean, these one-day off-the-shelf modules transfer knowledge in planning and implementation through interactive learning and examples. They are targeted for anyone who is leading or is on a lean implementation team for an enterprise.

Stage 2
3-day Lean Boot Camp

RWD's Lean Boot Camp provides a unique learning environment. Using a proven curriculum in an intense short-duration format, it equips participants with the basic disciplines, knowledge, and skills of lean. Your team members will also develop personal lean leadership skills and learn how to gain broad organizational support among colleagues for your company's lean transformation.

Stage 3
3-week RWD Lean Learning Academy™

The RWD Lean Learning Academy™ combines instructor-led classroom instruction, practical implementations on the shop floor, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises. The three-week coursework is designed for executives, managers, supervisors and others who want to take on leadership responsibilities. It will be of particular interest to those seeking a clear understanding of the role they will play in the lean implementation process, and a better understanding of the leadership and practical skills required to influence, inspire and motivate others to excel.

Testimonials

"To say that the Academy has radically changed my working day would not be an exaggeration. It has given me a whole new perspective on the importance of what I do, how I do it and the questions I ask of others. For me, the most powerful message is that change begins with me, and how I act and behave affects those who I work and interact with in the organization. We can’t ask our employees to change, if we as managers and leaders are unwilling to change ourselves."
